FLORA AND FAUNA
the Wallace Line, which marks the differences in flora and fauna belonging to separate land masses in the last ice ages, was discovered by the nineteenth century naturalist Alfred Russell Wallace. The Wallace Line also isolated from the eastern islands and has its own flora and fauna. Although the animal life is very different the flora is less unique. Native animals include anoa (dwarf buffalo); babi rusa (a type of wild boar); black macaques, tarsius monkeys, cuscus, redknobbed, hornbills; and the Maleo birds, etc. (Source: Indonesia North Sulawesi Manado "Guide Book" - Provincial Tourist Office)

LAKE LINOW
A small, highly sulphurous lake of 35 ha. The lakes's color change depending on the light and viewing perspective. It shades of light blue, green, turquoise etc. It is just take 20 minutes by minibus from Tomohon city to Lahendong village and 20 minutes walks to the lake from Lahendong village.

MANADO TUA ISLAND
It is just 15 minutes from our hotel by boat. There is superb diving, snorkeling area and very spectacular views from the peak. To climb this mountain just need several hours to the top and the path is not too difficult.

BAN HIN KIONG TEMPLE
This colorful nineteenth century temple is the oldest in Eastern Indonesia. Located on Jalan Panjaitan it is a central place of worship for people follower the Buddhist faith. LAKE TONDANO
A Large scenic lake with its clear water, overlooking Lembean mountain ranges. This 4.278 ha lake is surrounded by picturesque villages, paddy fields and in some parts, green hills, Its abundant fish provide a livelihood for the native population nearby. WENANG GOLF CLUB
